Vision and objectives

What are our scientific and technological objectives?
* To build cutting-edge knowledge in every area related to food, from the early stages of production, through its processing, characterization and determination of nutritional properties, to the study of toxicological aspects. In addition, we seek to integrate knowledge from various professional disciplines in a framework of multidisciplinary scientific development, based on the synergy of ideas and knowledge in the pursuit of a greater and better contribution to food science and technology.
* To promote the transfer of scientific knowledge to the agri-food sector, with the aim of creating technology companies or incorporating innovative technologies into traditional food businesses. At the same time, we welcome the participation of all corporative members (through commissions) and representatives of legislative, executive, judicial or regulatory bodies related to food science to transfer scientific-technological knowledge to food control legislation and regulations in Argentina and the rest of the world.
* To actively participate in research networks with other researchers and national and international institutions to continuously update knowledge and foster fruitful scientific-technological exchange with other organizations.

We focus on achieving recognition from both national and international research communities for the dynamic and flexible capabilities of our work, our potential to generate groundbreaking discoveries and our contribution to the advancement of food-related fields of study.
Finally, our vision is that ICYTAC will be socially recognized for the quality of its work, the value of its staff and the contributions to solving local and global problems related to the agro-sciences.
